Close-by you find the Rhine promenade, shopping facilities of Beuel city and the train station Bonn-Beuel. The city centre of Bonn is only one station by tube/metro/tram, so that Beethovens birthplace, Beethoven concert hall, opera, renaissance palace of the university with Hofgartenwiese or the Romanic minster can also be reached by a walk over the central Rhine bridge or by the cosy ferry "Rhine mermaid".
Stations for trains, tubes/metro/tram, airport shuttle bus or the motorway (Autobahn) can be reached in a few minutes bringing you to the other touristic features of Bonn like Poppelsdorfer caslte with botanic gardens, "mile of museums" (e.g. House of German History, Federal Hall of Art) or the offices of United Nations, Telekom, T-mobile or Posttower. There is a direct train connection to Cologne exhibition centre and the airport Cologne-Bonn (30 respectively 20 min).
