 Description
Our holiday domicile FONTANA CALDA is situated at the bottom of SAN CALOGERO mountain, which is very famous all over the world due to its natural vapour bath grottoes, good for rheumatism and neuralgia therapy. Our estate is about 4 km from the town centre of Sciacca and also from the sea, situated in a rural and very peaceful idyll of about 30,000 square meters in the middle of a grove of olive trees. Our oldest olive tree has about 2000 years!!
In our large villa, we live in the ground floor: my husband Massimo, Sicilian (a very simpatico one), our son David, 1/3 German + 2/3 Sicilian (that's what he says) and last but non least me, Doris, German (who is living here in Sicily for more than 10 years). Part of our family is also Rubbia, our lovely dog and our cat Chip.
The four brand new (June 2004), nice and cosy apartments are situated on the first floor (mansard). All units are fully equipped with TV, Hi-Fi, fridge, toaster, heating, air condition, standing fans, linen and towels weekly change, our Olive Oil extra vergine during your stay, garden furniture (sunshade, chairs, table, storm lantern, candels), clotheshorse etc.

The direction coming from PALERMO:
You'll take the highway ss115 at
Castelvetrano in direction of Agrigento/Sciacca. Arriving at
Sciacca, always on the highway, you should take the SECOND!! exit for
Sciacca,
AFTER the two tunnels!!!!. Take the right and go forward until the sign to
Monte
San Calogero(two times right). You follow approx. 2 km, always straight on the
road Aldo Moro. At the cross road, you don't have to follow the road to
San
Calogero, you should go straight on. After 1 km, you see a repair shop at
the right side. Continue this street. After 300 meters you will see a
black,
open gate. There you turn right and you just will see the house.
It's easy to find us, because you don't have to enter into Sciacca
